He is portrayed by Ian Somerhalder as a charming, darkly handsome and snarly person who loves tricking humans, and take pleasure in feeding on them and killing them during the early episode of the first Season. As episode went on, he begins to be kinder to other character showing brief moments of compassion. He, a self- proclaimed loner, often keep to himself. In early of Season1, Damon plays as a main antagonist but we saw that it was Stefan who convinced Damon to feed and complete his transformation to vampier. Despite Damon always there for Stefan when it really matters.
Through series both bother are in love a girl name" Elena". But finally in the season, Elena admins that she also love Damon and realize that she must make her choice.
Frankly, I really wish she choose Damon over Stefan. Stefan is a nice guy, a novel but she and Stefan together are totally boring. But She and Damon that's something special, that's not many people have.
